I would share few things that Arnold Schwarzenegger invented while trying during his bodybuilding days.

Arnold Schwarzenegger used to work for Austrian Army and he was not getting much time to train in one session. So he invented split routine by which he could spend some time working out in the morning and then rest of the time in the evening.

He is also famous for inventing the 'Shocking principle'. This basically means that body usually gets accustomed to certain exercises and workout routines. To make a body continuously grow, a person should do something different and shock the body to respond so that it grows again.
